Scottish firm to open opportunities for North East industry
North East business leaders are being offered the opportunity to find out about becoming part of the supply chain of one of Scotland’s largest companies. Production Services Network (PSN), which is one of top ten largest private Scottish companies, will reveal plans for some of its current and upcoming contracts at an event in Newcastle on 21 February.
Business development organisation NOF Energy is organising the event at the Holiday Inn in Seaton Burn, and hopes to provide guests with an insight into what PSN looks for in potential members of its supply chain.
The company is an independent, international service contractor to oil, gas and other process industries with operations worldwide. It employs more an 8,500 people working in 25 different countries.
George Rafferty, Chief Executive of NOF Energy, said: “Becoming a supply chain partner of a large, established company can be the key to securing the long-term prospects for smaller businesses. The insight PSN will give into its supply chain criteria will be really beneficial for North East businesses.”
