College puts finger on pulse of region's creative industries
A North East agency is looking for employers or self employed people from the region’s creative industries to take part in market research, potentially benefiting from funding opportunities as a result.
Pulse Creative Marketing is conducting the research on behalf of Cleveland College of Art and Design (CCAD), who are looking to develop a range of courses for employers and freelancers from creative industries.
Melanie Shee, Business Development Manager for the Creative Industries, said: “At present the college has an excellent reputation in providing specialist art and design training for students. We are now looking to extend this and provide training for businesses and employers in the region.
“The research that is being conducted by Pulse will allow us to gather feedback directly from the people that we are hoping will benefit from these services, and allow us to design and market training based on their expectations. As a result of taking part they may be eligible to access funding aimed at employers in the region which will allow us to develop provision to suit their needs.”
Karen Forster, Marketing Executive at Pulse Creative Marketing, says: “This is an excellent opportunity for businesses in the creative sector to have their say and possibly shape the provision they will be able to key into from a world-renowned specialist college. “We’re encouraging any employers or self-employed people who work in the region’s creative industries to get in touch and become involved.”
If you work in the creative sector and would like to take part please register your interest by contacting Karen at Pulse Creative Marketing at karen@pulsecreativemarketing.co.uk.
