New look gives firm national appeal

Gateshead-based asbestos consultancy Lucion Environmental is turning heads on a national level, thanks in part to a new rebrand. Set up five years ago by Dr Patrick Morton and Charles Pickles in Newcastle, it has grown from a partnership into a company with a national presence and a turnover of over £1million.

Lucion Environmental specialises in the surveying, testing of asbestos containing materials in buildings, as well as offering management services for the removal of the substance. In the last 12 months the company has focused on raising the profile of the business with the development of a new website, a move to new purpose built premises and a rebrand of its corporate identity.

Patrick said: “We had simply outgrown our former premises, and our new offices now give us the chance to expand the services we offer our clients. Competition in our industry is fierce, so having a great base to operate from and a presence in the south and in Northern Ireland are real plus points for us.”

Forthcoming activity includes the launch of a new website with an interactive client portal – developed as a result of Lucion Environmental’s work with Business Link account manager Judith Falla.
