Hat trick of deals at Stockton office park
A hat trick of deals has been completed at a new office development overlooking the Tees Gorge. North East solicitors Browell Smith & Co have bought a 1,500 sq ft unit at Halegrove Court @ Bowesfield, a joint development between Easingwold-based Halegrove and McGinnis Developments from Leeds. Meanwhile Yarm-based Dennis Harley Developments has bought a 1,300 sq ft unit and Kinsler Surveyors from Middlesbrough are renting a 1,300 sq ft unit.
The £5 million scheme provides 17 self-contained office buildings, ten of which have now been taken.
Another recently completed deal saw Alliance and Leicester opening a new business centre at Halegrove Court.
Craig Iley, Head of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank’s Tees Valley business centre, said: “We are delighted to be the one of the first occupiers on site. The location is ideal for our catchment area in the Tees Valley. “Moreover, in the longer term, this area has a tremendous future and Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank is perfectly positioned to be part of it.”
Paul Brown, Managing Director of Halegrove, said: “This hat trick of deals demonstrates the attraction of this development. “I am especially delighted at the excellent owner-occupier profile we have at Halegrove Court, including solicitors, architects, surveyors and a bank. Their presence underlines the fact this is a quality development.”
