US contract for North East events firm
A Darlington-based marketing and event management company has just won a contract to supply one of its event and conference management systems to a US industry forum.
Allancia Limited’s event management system will be used to handle the arrangements and delegate registrations for the Indiana Healthcare Industry Forum (IHIF)‘s annual conference - Innovention 08. Allancia’s DELNET software package will also be used to handle the timetabling of 1-2-1 appointments between all the event delegates.
Kristin Jones, Vice President Business Development of the IHIF said, “One of the key missions of the IHIF is to help connect industry like never before. The Allancia event management system will enable all our 2008 conference delegates to read the business profiles and their cooperation wishes of all our registered attendees before they turn up at the event in July. “This option will add real value to the event and will ensure that IHIF members and the conference delegates who want to meet each other can do so in a professional and organised manner.”
Phil Eadon, Managing Director of Allancia, said: “Networking is a key part of any event. Delegates that attend events and conferences are keen to find new contacts for their business. But all too often that contact is left to chance as people have to find new contacts by networking over coffee or during lunch breaks.
“I am really looking forward to working with the IHIF team which will hopeful lead to more business for Allancia in the USA.” Allancia would also like to hear from any businesses or organisations that might be interested to attend the event in Indianapolis. The event is most likely to be of interest to those businesses that are involved in the healthcare and life science sectors.
