Slick start for liquid porcelain company
A synthetic porcelain glaze which claims to give bathrooms the shine and durability of new porcelain is proving to be liquid gold for a new property renovation service.
Newcastle-based The Liquid Porcelain Company‘s bathroom refurbishment service has already taken Dubai’s top hotels and luxury villas by storm after launching in the North East earlier this year.
Now managing director Nick Pope has set his sights closer to home. He believes the synthetic porcelain glaze, which is applied using a spray gun solution, could really fill a gap in the UK market.
He said: “After spending seven years in Dubai, I witnessed how this quick and cost-effective solution could really fill a gap in the UK market, not just for hotels but for businesses including bed and breakfast, gyms, hospitals, schools and residential homes. With the help of Business Link and Newcastle’s Job Centre Plus, I set up the service for the North East.”
