Final call for STEP Awards
Organisers are putting out a last call for South Tyneside companies to submit their entries for a local business awards competition. The South Tyneside Enterprise Partnership (STEP) Awards offers cash prizes of £1,000 to each of its eight category winners and £2,500 to the overall Business of the Year.
Geoff Ford, STEP Chairman, said: “With the deadline for registrations looming, we are really hoping for a bumper entry this year. The awards are a great chance to bring some kudos to your business and I am sure the cash prizes will come in very handy.”
The closing date for entries is Friday 30 May. A full list of categories and application forms can be found at www.stepbusinessawards.co.uk. Each category winner receives a cheque for £1,000 while the overall winner also picks up a £2,500 prize. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 3 at the Quality Hotel, Boldon.
