Networking guru visits Newcastle

A self-confessed introvert and successful business expert will be returning from the USA to his UK roots to give a seminar on how to network next Wednesday. Matt Anderson, founder of American business building company the Referral Authority, will be visiting Newcastle as a guest of Northern Film & Media , to deliver a lively and interactive seminar on networking.

Matt Anderson says: “I’m really excited about presenting next week. I truly want the aspiring talent in the Northeast that attends to say afterwards: ‘If this bloke from Coventry can network his business from scratch in the USA after having been a school teacher, then I can get out there more and have great results too.’ This stuff is very doable.”

Matt Anderson moved to the USA six years ago and grew his business in Madison, Wisconsin exclusively by networking and referrals. Drawing on his own experience he now helps business owners build referral-based businesses by training their new hires. Amongst his clients are sales organizations such as New York Life, Prudential Financial and Met Life.

The seminar will address issues such as: how to network effectively and stay true to yourself; how shyer people can network effectively; networking online; and how to turn contacts into business.
