In the news: The Telegraph reports US Senator John McCain’s struggle to catch up to the online literacy levels of his competitors. At 72 years of age, Mr McCain admits that he does not use email, and requires members of his staff to guide him around even the most basic political websites.Â
The UK is second only to the US in terms of numbers of mobile internet users according to a new report from Nielsen Mobile. The report claims that mobile internet penetration is 12.9%, just behind global leaders America at 15.6%. The NMA also report that portal sites are still the most commonly visited.
