North East entrepreneurs urged to pursue their big ideas
A programme of workshops is being launched across the North East to urge budding business tycoons to explore their high-growth business ideas and turn them into reality.
Business Link is launching its NOW North East programme at the Marriott Hotel, Metro Centre, Gateshead on Wednesday 23rd July 2008, from 8 - 10am. The programme will be made up of workshops at locations across the North East for entrepreneurs who have potentially high-earning business ideas.
Entrepreneurs with business ideas that are likely to turn over £250,000 in the first two years will be offered advice on turning a strong business idea into a successful enterprise.
Chris Simpson, account manager at Business Link, said: “Business Link works with all kinds of entrepreneurs and ideas, and we are particularly looking forward to working with those people who have big, high-growth business concepts.
“The workshops will give entrepreneurs the chance to put their ideas into practice and turn them into reality. Covering all aspects of the start-up process, these workshops have been specially designed to really set the ball rolling and get strong business ideas off the ground. We want to help entrepreneurs understand what skills are needed to take an idea further and learn how to establish a business that will survive and grow.”
Those who would like to attend the launch event on 23rd July 2008 should contact Amanda Edwards by emailing amanda@qedconsulting.co.uk. For more information on the workshops and how to attend one, go to www.nownortheast.co.uk/register.asp.
