Italian police saves tipsy pig
Italian police have saved a baby pig from the pram of a drunken German. Concerned citizens in Verona called police when they saw the man walking the two-month-old pig in a pram through the city centre, feeding it from a bottle of beer.
Both man and pig were taken to the police station, where a complaint was lodged against the man for animal maltreatment.
Police said that the pink pig was pretty tipsy and has been passed on to Italy’s Animal Protection Trust to let it sober up again.
