Business Link to teach the art of marketing
Business Link are calling for the region’s businesses to attend their ‘Marketing: The Art Of’ event which takes place on Monday 10 November at the Sage, Gateshead.
The event is designed to appeal to anyone with a marketing remit. Speakers at the event will include PR guru Max Clifford and Business Link North East chief executive Alastair MacColl. A variety of workshops led by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and local big brand business delegates aim to leave attendees fully abreast of industry developments and knowledgeable on how to differentiate themselves from their rivals, whichever sector they work in.
Business Link are hosting the event in order to help North East businesses achieve sustained national and international profiles and attract new business to the region. They hope that the conference will also act as a forum for local firms to share knowledge and best practice.
Julie Spowart, events manager at Business Link North East, said: “The North East has a thriving business community, however there is a recognition that we can better harness local talent to promote the region’s businesses.
“Business Link has identified the need for conferences such as this that inspire and inform and we believe that the variety of high-profile speakers, engaging workshops throughout the day, and exhibitors from both local and national organisations, will really appeal to the local marketplace.”
