Global energy company brought to the North East
The North East energy sector is being offered the opportunity to build new relationships with one of the globe’s largest service companies.
KBR, which has designed and constructed more than half of the world’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production capacity, will be part of an event organised by NOF Energy at Middlesbrough Football Club on 25 September.
Delegates will have the chance to take part in one-to-one sessions with KBR’s Principal Manager, Procurement and Materials, John Bigglestone and find out how to register on KBR’s global supplier database.
KBR is a leading global engineering, construction and services company supporting the energy, petrochemical, government services and civil infrastructure services. It has its head quarters in Houston, Texas, employs 50,000 people worldwide and has offices in Australia, Africa, UK, Asia and the Middle East.
Also speaking at the event will be Oil & Gas UK’s Norman McLennan who will discuss the Oil and Gas Supply Chain Code of Practice.
George Rafferty, Chief Executive of NOF Energy, said: “Major global companies such as KBR are continually looking to develop and improve their portfolio of suppliers. This event will be a great opportunity for the North East to demonstrate the quality of its products and services.
“I hope that oil and gas sector companies from the region take advantage of this event, which could be the first step to building a new relationship with one of the world’s most progressive and successful energy sector service organisations. In addition, KBR is looking to register new suppliers on the day so definitely an opportunity not to be missed.”
