Man Sells Wife?s Breast Milk
A Chinese couple are selling their surplus breast milk to help out local families in trouble. Young dad Li Jun said his wife produced extra milk because of her large appetite: “Every hour, she produces around 200ml of milk, which is too much for our baby daughter.”
The couple had previously been using the excess milk to wash in, but they felt there was another potential use for it. Li Jun explained: “We felt this was too wasteful, so we thought of selling it, her daily milk production is easily enough to feed another baby.”
Following the recent scandal in China surrounding the contamination of powdered milk the couple have made some profit by selling the natural version. However, they’re also willing to help local families who may not otherwise be able to afford the milk they need.
