r//evolution take on the art of marketing
r//evolution marketing has become the event partner at Business Link’s marketing conference ‘Marketing: the art of’, which takes place at The Sage, Gateshead on November 10.
Designed to showcase creative and innovative ideas, the conference has lined up celebrity publicist Max Clifford as its opening keynote speaker and Mark Palmer, global brand director of Green & Black’s organic chocolate, as the closing speaker.
Peter Cooke, director of r//evolution marketing, said: “The event will showcase modern marketing practice and innovative ideas, which is the main reason we wanted to be involved. “It’s important that organisations focus on effective and creative communications which highlight their own distinct qualities and service or product benefits, particularly when the economy takes a nosedive. The businesses that will succeed now are the ones that positively market - and live - their organisational brand values.”
Peter will also be a speaker at one of the main panel sessions - ‘Does ethical marketing have a place in the credit crunch?’
