Entrepreneur brings expertise to North East
Lingerie guru Michelle Mone will be arriving in South Tyneside during Global Enterprise Week to headline a free event celebrating the achievements of businesswomen across the North East.
The entrepreneur, who is the brains behind the multi-million pound Ultimo bra empire, is a special guest speaker at Business Boutique, set to take place on Women’s Enterprise Day on 19 November at Merchant Court, Hebburn.
Michelle will be joined by Margaret Fay, chair of regional development agency One North East and former managing director of Tyne Tees Television and Nicki Clark, director of operations at Business & Enterprise North East.
Michelle Mone, founder and co-owner of Ultimo Lingerie said: “Business Boutique is a unique opportunity for women to network in an informal environment with like-minded people. It’s a chance to connect, share and build business relationships with other inspirational women.
“It is fitting that the event takes place on Women’s Enterprise Day and I hope that it gives the women who attend the inspiration and confidence to get their business idea off the ground.”
Event sponsors, South Tyneside Means Business, will also be on hand with information about the wealth of free business support available, from advice on loans and grants, to flexible terms on premises, mentoring and business skills.
Business Boutique is running from 5pm-7.30pm on 19 November at Merchant Court, Monkton Business Park South, Hebburn. For further information, and to register, contact Katherine Shenton at katherines@gardiner-richardson.com.
