Regional pairing brings Enterprise Upfront
Enterprise communities across the UK are being offered further help this week with the launch of a new online resource.
To coincide with this year’s Enterprise Week, creative agency bgroup has joined forces with the Tyneside Economic Development Company (TEDCO) to create EnterpriseUpfront, a new e-zine aimed at bringing together all sorts of people involved with entrepreneurial activities.
EnterpriseUpfront is targeted at people whose role is to support enterprise, such as government departments, training and advice providers, local government, regional development agencies, universities, and schools.
bgroup and TEDCO believe that there is currently no effective way for these varied groups to communicate with each other, and that this is creating a barrier to the promotion of enterprise culture in the UK. EnterpriseUpfront is intended to combat this by providing readers with a review of information across the enterprise agenda, with examples of community approaches to enterprise development and news on enterprise education and entrepreneurship from primary school to post-graduate level.
Si Bales, MD of bgroup said: “bgroup has worked across the enterprise agenda for some 8 years now, running effective campaigns carrying the message of enterprise to thousands of individuals. For years we have wanted to produce a publication that pulls together some of the key news, views, practices and policy changes that are happening across enterprise in the UK and beyond, so we are delighted that this has finally come to fruition.”
TEDCO’s Chief Executive Doug Scott said: “As one of the countries leading enterprise agencies we have been active in enterprise activities across the UK for almost 25 years. We identified a clear need for a credible trustworthy source of information for the wider enterprise community and developed EnterpriseUpfront as a result of this.”
