Different makes a difference

North East marketing agency Different has been giving a helping hand to a children’s charity, improving its marketing materials and producing its annual report.

Newcastle-based COCO is a children’s charity founded by Steve Cram. It works on closely monitored education and healthcare projects to improve the lives of children living in poverty throughout the developing world.

Different donated its time free of charge and organised free printing to complete COCO’s annual report detailing the charity’s work in the last year. In addition Different has also designed and produced COCO’s fundraising pack, logo and programs for their celebrity golf day.

Founded by former Olympic athlete Steve Cram in 2000, COCO has raised over £1.3 million helping to fund children’s projects in developing countries, primarily in Africa, but also in Thailand, Bosnia, Peru and Romania.

Ben Quigley, managing director of Different, said: “We have so far enjoyed a three year working relationship with COCO and it is a charity that, as a company, we are passionate about. Our team thoroughly enjoys working with them and this recent project has seen us roll out a number of new marketing materials which, we hope, will help with their future growth. By donating our services completely free, we are able to ensure that every penny goes towards helping those in need.”

Steve Cram, chairman of COCO added: “We are delighted to have the support of such a fantastic creative design agency. Different has worked with COCO to produce some top quality marketing materials that have helped to strengthen the brand and will really help us get our message across. Different has made a real difference to COCO’s work and will help us work towards brighter futures across the globe.”
