Durham firm reins in new opportunities
A Durham firm specialising in - wait for it - organic aromatherapy products for horses is set to rein in a host of new clients across the globe.
Forest Farmacy, of Sniperly Hall, has developed its own brand of organic aromatherapy and flower essence therapy products to help both horse and rider in competition as well as maximise enjoyment from riding.
The company has already developed a strong customer base in the UK with clients including 2008 Olympic bronze medallist Sharon Hunt, who was so impressed she asked the company to sponsor her.
Holly Llewellyn, Director of Forest Farmacy, in Durham, said: “We all know horses, like all animals, can be unpredictable and keeping your cool can be vital not only to succeed in competitions but also to get the most enjoyment out of riding.
“Our Organic Winning Solutions range covers the majority of issues horse and rider meet, from day to day riding to competing at championship shows or in a race. Their calming influence - which works on both rider and horse - can help get a horse into the starting gate as well as help keep the horse calm during transit.”
After attending a trade fair in Germany, Forest Farmacy are now looking to branch out into other European countries and beyond.
“As a result of attending the exhibition we’ve had interest from a wide range of markets including Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and Australia and are now looking to link up with distributors there.”
