bgroup expands into PR with new appointment
North East creative agency, bgroup, is launching a new PR division with the arrival of Senior PR Account Manager, Kate Tulip. Kate joins the growing team of marketing, design and digital specialists as bgroup moves to broaden its offering following a raft of new account wins.
With four and a half years experience as a PR consultant, Kate will be joining the 22-strong team at bgroup to lead delivery of PR services for a diverse portfolio of clients.
The 27 year old returns to her Newcastle roots following a period with a specialist trade and communications agency in London, managing trade campaigns for major alcohol brands such as Guinness, Baileys, Jose Cuervo and Smirnoff, on behalf of Diageo Plc. Prior to moving down South, Kate began her career working for a national marketing and PR agency in central Newcastle, delivering PR communications for some of the region’s biggest names in retail, property, education and construction.
Kate said: “I’m delighted to be back in my native Newcastle and working for an agency which is fast emerging as a real creative force in regional, national and European markets. With a strong existing portfolio of clients, I look forward to taking up this exciting new challenge and help to deliver truly inspiring integrated communications campaigns.”
Siobhan Bales, Managing Director of bgroup, said: “Kate’s appointment comes at a time of sustained growth for bgroup. As an agency with a long-standing reputation for its strategic approach to delivering creative marketing campaigns, now seemed like the perfect time for bgroup to branch out into PR with Kate at the helm.
“We look forward to working with Kate to grow the new division across existing and new accounts and wish her every success in delivering strong, strategic PR campaigns for the bgroup.”
