Top score for Drummond Central
A Newcastle advertising agency is celebrating after clinching yet another top industry accolade.
Drummond Central has beaten off stiff competition to be named North East Advertising Agency of the Year by industry magazine The Drum.
The agency has already won a string of industry awards recently including silver at the Campaign Media Awards for its bet365 work, North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for Service and was highly commended by the 2008 Excellence in Communication Awards for their work for the newly opened Sunderland Aquatic Centre, for Best use of Photography.
Managing director Julie Drummond said: “It’s so wonderful to win an award like this as it’s recognition to every member of staff for the tremendous amount of hard work that goes on at Drummond Central.
“It’s also great to be recognised by our peers as The Drum is one of the best known magazines for the creative industries.”
Established in Gateshead four years ago, the business has recently moved to new offices in Newcastle after an increase in turnover and new client-wins created a need for expansion and additional staff.
