Redundancy offer from the BIC
The North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) has introduced a reduced offering on its services for individuals who have been made redundant or are under the threat of redundancy.
The priority offer will allow budding entrepreneurs to rent an office and access a range of business support services from as little as £37 per week.
Committed to helping create new businesses since 1994, the BIC has a dedicated ‘incubator’ building for people who need a base from which to launch new businesses.
David Howell, Director of Operations at the North East BIC, said: “The current business climate has led to a feeling of uncertainty and insecurity for many workers in the North East region. We feel that we should use our position as a business support enterprise to offer new horizons to those who may find themselves in or close to a position of unemployment.”
