North East firm takes contract in Cardiff
A Washington marketing and event management business is celebrating after landing a contract to supply the Welsh Assembly Government with a new meeting event management system for a high profile biosciences conference.
Allancia Limited will be supplying their CONNECT 1-2-1 system to the BioWales event, taking place in Cardiff on 18-19 March. BioWales is the UK’s largest bioscience conference and partnering event held outside of London.
Phil Eadon, Managing Director of Allancia said: “I am absolutely delighted that the Welsh Assembly Government have chosen to use one of our innovative CONNECT 1-2-1 meeting management systems.
“Our experience in organising these types of networking events, together with our innovative software based meeting scheduling systems, proved a good and cost effective solution to the event organisers needs.
“Allancia staff will attend the event on the 18-19 March and provide assistance in the management and delivery of the 1-2-1 brokerage meetings.”
Companies in the North East have already participated in CONNECT 1-2-1 delegate networking sessions as Allancia organised delegate meetings during three North East business events it organised in 2008 - Partners4Engineering 2008, Partners4Automotive 2008 and the Durham Business Schools Big Weekend 2008.
Phil Eadon said: “The BioWales 2009 event is open to all and any companies interested in developing business in the Biotechnology and Healthcare industry. Allancia would be happy to see some North East BioTech companies sign up and attend the event so they can make some new contacts for their business.
Companies that are registered on Allancia’s Partners4Business network website have already been invited. For more information go to www.thepartners4businessnetwork.com.
