Teenager defeats 'lazy' stereotype
A 16-year-old Canadian student decided that his career was more important than his health when he chose not to go to hospital after being stabbed, but to attend a job interview instead.
Staff at the King West Vets veterinary clinic in Toronto said the student showed up on time for his placement interview. But when employees noticed blood on his leg, they called police.
“He did really well on the interview and we were very proud of him for sticking to the appointment,” said veterinarian Kent Ackerman. He wouldn’t say if the student was successful in getting the job.
