Ecommerce ticks all the boxes for designer watch retailer
A passion for designer goods and a world-class eCommerce site are bringing online success for a North East entrepreneur. Sales at TicWatches.co.ukhave tripled in the last three months since the site was redeveloped.
Owner Daniel Richmond credits his site’s success to, not surprisingly, his own passion and eye for design, but also the help of Teesside web developers Visualsoft.
The site offers designer watches from brands such as Armani, Gucci, Andy Warhol and Penguin. Thanks to the web site, Tic Watches Limited is also the UK distributors for both Original Penguin and Andy Warhol watches and now supplies to stores such as ASOS.com, Next Directory and many other retail outlets.
Tic Watches started out life on the internet via eBay but Daniel knew that he had the potential to make a much bigger success of the business. He said: “Turnover was good but people weren’t being driven to the site as effectively as I thought possible. “After discussions about look, feel and function, Visualsoft were able to deliver a world-class site quickly and to budget. Now I am getting more than 15000 visitors per month and selling three times as much product.
“It’s not just in the UK that I am selling - thanks to Visualsoft’s search engine optimisation techniques, ticwatches.co.uk and its offerings are now high in web rankings which means I have people all over the world hitting the site - and buying.”
Richard Bendelow, director at Visualsoft said: “Tic Watches is an ideal case study for promoting the benefits of ecommerce. “His success is being replicated all over the world by people who have seen the future of business and understand that online is not just a nice to have - it’s a must have!”
