Bread contains dough
A Newcastle man making his breakfast toast found a £10 note inside his loaf. Thomas Webb told The Sun: “It was just flat between two slices. I couldn’t understand it.”
The IT manager suspected his mates had slipped the crisp bill into the wholemeal Hovis as a joke but they denied it. He added: “It’s really odd - I’d have thought the bread was made by a machine.”
A spokesman for Tesco, where Mr Webb bought the bread, said: “As it is a branded product there is not much we can do - other than say congratulations.”
