Charity chooses North East company for Christmas campaign
A Gateshead-based contact centre has just won a contract with Cancer Research UK to work on the charity’s ecommerce campaign over the Christmas period.
Spark Response will handle order calls and customer services, as well as fulfilling all orders from the charity’s Shop to Beat Cancer online store into 2010.
Managing director, Peter Slee, says he has seen a shift in how charities deal with partners in the outsourced contact centre and fulfilment arena: “Charities with retail or ecommerce offerings have become much more commercially astute.
“The campaign has kicked off to a great start and we are hoping for a very busy and successful season.”
Cancer Research UK’s ecommerce manager, Katherine Dorrell, said: “We are pleased to be working with Spark on our ecommerce offer Shop to Beat Cancer. Their expertise in ecommerce fulfilment will help us to maintain excellent levels of customer service and continue to improve our relationship with our supporters.”
