North East payroll company scoops top award
Gateshead based Cintra HR & Payroll Services have been awarded the accolade of Payroll Software Provider of the Year for the second time in four years at the UK Payroll Awards.
Cintra fought off tough competition from several multi-national payroll providers to win the award, presented earlier this week at BAFTA, The British Academy of Film & Television Arts in London.
Cintra’s Chief Executive, Carsten Staehr said: “What makes it particularly nice to win the award this time, is that 50% of the decision was based upon customer surveys which had to be completed online and over 100 of our customers took time out of their busy schedules to support us.”
Institute of Payroll Professionals Head of Policy and Research and Awards Judge Kate Upcraft said: “As judges, we had to do nothing as your submission and your customers did it for you and you fully deserve it - a huge congratulation from all of us.”
Cintra were also honoured as runners-up in the other top category at the awards ceremony, that of Payroll Outsourcing Provider of the Year
Carsten Staehr said: “I am absolutely delighted for everyone in the company to have picked up this award, which bears testimony to our commitment to provide user-friendly solutions, backed up by outstanding personal service to our clients. I would also like to give special thanks to all our customers, who with their strong endorsements, made this possible”.
