Bupa Great North Run Cultural Programme talk and tour of Hit the Ground

Join Beth Bate, manager of the Cultural Programme and curator of the Hit The Ground exhibition, for a gallery tour, talk and complimentary glass of wine.

Hit The Ground presents work on the theme of running and what running means to all kinds of people, from highly-trained athletes to enthusiastic amateurs and first-time participants. Hit The Ground examines running as a physical and mental experience, as a struggle and as an inspiration, as fun and as a disciplined regimen.

Featuring work by Vicki Bennett, Roderick Buchanan, Amy Feneck and Laura Mansfield, NAME/Atau Tanaka/Culture Lab and susan pui san lok.
