bgroup offers you a dog for Christmas

bdaily’s sister company at b on the quay, creative agency bgroup, has launched its Christmas campaign – and the message is not one you would normally expect to hear at this time of year.

bgroup is encouraging people in the North East to get a Dog Just For Christmas – but only a digital one. Anyone who visits www.justforchristmas.co.uk can download one of a variety of dogs, along with accessories.

Then they can photograph themselves with the dog, upload the photo to the website and be in with a chance of winning themselves a three-course meal for two people at the BALTIC’s rooftop restaurant, Six. For each upload bgroup will donate 10p to the Newcastle Dog and Cat shelter.

The company’s head of creative, Simon Wilson, came up with the concept when his girlfriend wouldn’t stop nagging him about getting a pet. The dogs are all based on bgroup staff members, who were told about the project in advance. Mostly.
