One-armed man steals one cuff link
Police are reportedly looking for a one-armed man who stole a single gold cufflink worth £120 from a jewellery shop.
The thief pretended to be looking for a present when he knocked boxes of cufflinks on the floor.
It was only later that staff at the CJ Vinten store in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, realised he had taken one of the cufflinks, in the shape of a boxing glove.
The thief is described as white, bald, and was wearing a dirty navy blue bomber jacket and blue jeans.
Shop employee Sally Ann Manthorp said: ‘It wasn’t until we watched the CCTV we saw he had an empty sleeve tucked in his pocket.’
