Filmmakers are done in 60 seconds
A minute-long film created by a small group of North East filmmakers has been shortlisted for a national award.
Fight Club in 60 seconds, madeby Pyramid Media UK in collaboration with Simon Bell, Chris Foggin, Jack Sands, and Jess Johnson, is through to the final twenty entries of the Jameson Empire Awards 2010’s ‘Done in 60 Seconds’ competition.
The ‘Done in 60 Seconds’ competition invites filmmakers to submit their 60-second version of a famous feature film, for a chance to win an Empire Award at the ceremony on 26 March.
There were over 100,000 entries, and Fight Club in 60 Seconds has been selected by the judges to go through to the public vote.
Helen Burdess at Pyramid Media said: “It was our first time taking part, and it’s great to be one of the finalists. We chose Fight Club on a whim, but it seemed like an interesting idea.
“We’d love to get through to the final five, as we’d get to go to the Empire Awards, but really we’re just trying to get a buzz around the company and what we’ve done.”
