Stepping out all over the world
A North East company which provides specialist trainers to premiership football stars and Hollywood actors has seen its profits rocket by 400% in the last year.
Sole Heaven, based in Tynemouth, is now looking to expand its empire after enjoying a period of record-sales and gaining an international reputation for exclusive footwear amongst the celebrities such as Australian film idol, Anthony LaPaglia.
Owner Dale Parr, said: “We’re approaching our second birthday in April and we’ve certainly established our place in the market. We do have some well-know customers now.
“We’re now ready to move into new premises and take on new staff. Our turnover has doubled since November because we’ve invested in our business and have given our customers a bigger range of products to choose from.”
The business has also begun working with the region’s creatives to help push its brand image to all corners of the globe. This has helped drive sales at the beginning of the year and has left Parr confident that Sole Heaven will smash turnover targets.
He added: “We believe in commissioning local people to create video content for us which has acknowledged in magazines all over the world.
“We’re not just another retailer but a business that cares deeply about the culture it’s involved in.”
