Thurman flop makes £88
Hollywood actress Uma Thurman’s latest movie has closed in the UK after just 11 people turned up to see it on its opening weekend in the UK, according to Sky.
Motherhood, a film about a stressed-out mum, only managed to gross £88 for its opening weekend.
The flick, which also features Brit Minnie Driver and two-time Oscar-winner Jodie Foster, did badly in America as well, taking just over £40,000 when it opened last September.
It’s a far cry from Thurman’s biggest hit, Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill 2, which made £14.2m in America on its opening weekend in 2004.
