Technology firm transforms dining experience

A technology firm is set to revolutionise restaurant dining, thanks to support from fellow North East company RMT Accountants and Business Advisors.

LamasaTech, based in Sunderland, has developed an exciting new technology that will introduce touch-screen dining tables to restaurants.

The system will allow diners to order food from up to date menus and will also include bill splitting, feedback, advertisements and games facilities.

RMT supported the business throughout the process of securing over half a million pounds in finance from Al-Najah Advanced Technology Co Ltd, an investor based in Saudi Arabia.

The funding will cover development costs and product commercialisation. It will also be used throughout the current recruitment of a team of six employees, dedicated to the development of this innovative new product.

Stephen Slater, from RMT, said: “LamasaTech has developed a unique and exciting new product and it has been fantastic to be involved in the evolution of these inspirational touch screen dining tables.

“We offered sound financial advice to the business throughout its application for funding support. This sort of guidance can be pivotal in helping firms to get off to the best possible start and we are dedicated to offering our clients excellence in service. We also provided the firm with accountancy support, including tax advice and business planning.”
