North East company makes it into the top twenty

CREATIVE PR company Cool Blue has been named one of the top twenty agencies in the UK. Marketing services magazine The Drum scrutinised the results of 31 different awards schemes to identify the 100 agencies that have won the most awards outside of London. Cool Blue was named the number one PR agency in the North East; the number two PR agency in the UK; and made it into the top twenty best agencies in the UK (the only North East company to do so). It’s the latest in a string of accolades for the company, which has offices in Newcastle and Middlesbrough. A Drum spokesman said: “Cool Blue Brand Communications topped the list with its campaigns doing well at the CIPR Pride Awards, in fact it scooped the UK record number of wins, while also picking up points at the Fresh Media & Digital awards.? Cool Blue collected four gold and four silver awards at the CIPR Pride Awards and a bronze at the Fresh Media & Digital Awards. The Drum trawled the results of a large cross section of awards schemes to identify the most awarded regional agencies over the last year and gave scores depending on the number and type of awards won. Cool Blue was just one point away from being named best PR company in the UK, and was way ahead of its nearest North East rivals.
