Monday movers: NBS, King Design and Stadium expand their workforces
NEWCASTLE Building Society will welcome new faces to its Hexham branch with the arrival of two senior staff.
Allison Potter has been appointed new branch manager while Tom Byrne will come in as personal finance manager.
Allison has almost ten years worth of management experience and will be tasked to look after the day-to-day running of the branch, as well as the training and development of the team.
She will also deal directly with local members and enhance the branch’s presence in the area.
Tom will support Allison and will offer members advice on pensions, inheritance tax and investment funds.
He has more than 35 years worth of experience working in the industry and he started his career in Hexham as an agent offering financial services on behalf of companies, before moving in to a Sales Manager role and then as a Financial Planning Manager before coming to the Newcastle.
Meanwhile, King Design in Newcastle has recruited Colin Thompson as a senior account manager. Colin’s most recent post was at bdaily’s sister company bgroup, where he worked as part of the project management team which dealt with TyneMet, Northumberland College, Eaga and Enterprise UK.
He has over 30 years of experience in the advertising world and has worked with several retail and service sector companies before moving to Robson Brown in Newcastle.
Hatrlepool-based manufacturer Stadium Electronics, has announced the appointment of John Harley as business development manager.
John will be responsible for new business growth within the electronics business, driving market share in both existing and new markets. Commercial director Tony Inskip, said: “John brings almost 20 years experience in the EMS sector having worked in sales growth roles at several leading electronic contract manufacturers.
“We are confident that his vast experience and network of industry contacts will bring further organic growth for the Stadium EMS business, and we wish him every success in his new role.”
