Improve your business’ performance with supply chain management

TO HELP North East businesses improve their performance and make the most of collaboration with suppliers, Business Link is running a series of fully-funded interactive training workshops on supply chain management. Ensuring that your own business performs effectively and efficiently is crucial. However, you probably have to rely on other businesses to supply you with products or services and to supply your products and services to customers. Therefore, you also have to ensure that they operate as effectively and efficiently as possible for you too. Getting this supply chain right can be one of the biggest challenges facing a business, which is why Business Link has developed this latest training course.

The interactive training workshops will provide delegates with:

  • A clear view of their own supply chain and competitive position
  • An understanding of the difference between competition and collaboration
  • The tools to consider their own business model, supply chain architecture and the relationships they have with key customers and suppliers.

And throughout the workshop, delegates will identify the five key steps that they can follow to manage and improve their supply chain, from building a supply chain team through to benchmarking performance and delivering real business improvements.

The day-long training sessions are taking place across the region on the following dates and at the following venues:

7 May 2010 – Business & Enterprise North East, Seaham
