Funding brings signs of growth
A NORTH East digital signage firm has set its sights on doubling its workforce, having secured a £100,000 investment and a contract with an international car manufacturing giant.
Beyond Digital Systems, which has a base in both Harlow and Jarrow, has received a significant investment from Middleton Enterprises, after it matched its request to support its drive for new capital.
As a result of the latest injection, the company has won a contract with one of the world‚s largest car manufacturers and is looking forward to a massive growth in the business.
Louise Richley, managing director of Beyond Digital Systems, said: “The investment from Mr Middleton will have a major impact in our drive to grow and tap into new markets.
“The market is very well developed in the USA and Japan, but the European market is definitely behind these areas and this is certainly a part of the world we’d like to get into.
“There are huge opportunities for us to broaden our customer base internationally. In the car market there‚s no competitor in the UK or provider of the all round solution we provide. It’s not just about hanging screens up in showrooms, it needs to be nurtured and looked after on a long-term basis.”
The company now provides digital sings to many sectors including estate agency, train stations and corporate buildings.
The electronic messages are said to show targeted information to the public and employees and can even change information at different times of the day.
A large North East based bakery firm is understood to be the latest company which wants to take advantage of the innovative signs Beyond can create.
Jeremy Middleton, said: “I believe that Beyond Digital Systems has real potential to grow and that is why I have decided to support the company.
“It has an experienced management team in place, which has put together a solid strategy for the business‚s expansion and I envisage these qualities, together with its service excellence and innovative product will enable Beyond Digital Systems to develop its marketplace.”
