Monday Movers: Latest North East appointments
NORTHUMBRIA University graduate Jane Sinnamon is due to join Newcastle law firm Mincoffs following the completion of her 18 month training placement at the company.
The 25-year-old law graduate who will become an assistant solicitor next month, said: “I am delighted to have been offered this position at Mincoffs following my training. As a medium sized commercial firm it has offered me vast experience in all the commercial areas I wanted to gain experience in.
“The firm has a loyal client base and an excellent reputation in delivering a very personal service whether the client is a regional or a national one, which is something I really value in a firm.”
Beating off stiff competition to be accepted onto the programme came as a result of impressing the partners whilst on a work placement at the firm in her final year LLB Law Exempting Degree.
As part of Mincoffs’ graduate programme, the trainee solicitors undertake a six month placement in each department at the firm. With over 60 years’ experience advising clients, both regional and national, Mincoffs specialises in a wide range of services including corporate, commercial, employment, property and licensing law.
Meanwhile, Helen Jones has joined North East radio station Metro Radio and Magic 1152 as a sales executive.

Joining Metro and Magic is the opportunity she has been looking for, and she is really pleased to be joining the region’s biggest station.
