Getting a kick out of business contacts
A WEB DEVELOPMENT firm is holding a football tournament to bring together local firms and agencies.
Vusualsoft, based in Stockton on Tees, has organised the six-a-side tournament, which will take place at Durham’s Soccarena on Saturday.
Director Richard Bendelow, who set up Visualsoft in 1998 with Dean Benson, says: “We believe it’s really important for businesses across the region to get to know one another and find ways of working together.
“Networking is a great way to encourage this, and in keeping with current football fever we decided to network with actual nets.
“We hope that everyone involved makes valuable contacts, and above all, really enjoys themselves.”
Businesses which have entered teams into the tournament include solicitors Ernst & Young, digital marketing companies TH_NK and Media Works, and vehicle parts supplier Fleet Factors.
Visualsoft will also be putting forward a team made up from its 50-strong workforce and if the event proves to be a success, the company is looking to make it an annual tournament and encourage even more businesses to get involved in the future.
