Print firm spreads its mark
A PRINT and design firm has inked a new deal to expand into Hartlepool as part of its ongoing growth plans across the region.
JAK Print & Design, which has been established in Chester-le-Street since 2005 and recently opened another office in Darlington, has now moved into new premises at 206 York Road in Hartlepool.
The building, just opposite Shottons, was formerly known as The Bridal Lounge but will now offer a comprehensive range of creative services to businesses in the town and surrounding areas.
It is a significant step forward by John and Andrew Knowles, the father-and-son team who run JAK, as Andrew explained. “Living locally to Hartlepool we have wanted to open a shop here for a long time, however couldn’t find a suitable location on a busy road with free parking,” he said. “When the shop came available on York Road, we had to go for it. It has always been a busy road in Hartlepool and we feel the convenience of pulling up outside is a major plus point.”
JAK offers both digital and litho printing, as well as a design service, web development, PR and t-shirt printing. The company is also a service provider with Business Link, meaning it can help companies to get funding towards their logo design and branding.
