Monday Movers: Latest North East appointments
FAST-GROWING executive recruitment group blackswan has appointed Nina Robison to its expanding search and selection division.
She brings a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the talent marketplace to the Newcastle-headquartered business.
Julian Rogan, head of search and selection at the firm, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Nina to blackswan. She is superb addition to our team and the blackswan business as a whole.”
Nina, who is based at blackswan’s Grey Street office, said: “I am delighted to have joined blackswan at a very exciting time for the business. Meanwhile, offshore industry body has announced the appointment of six new board members as the organisation continues its growth in existing and emerging energy sectors.
The business development organisation for the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore wind sectors, now has a 16-strong board made up of experienced and respected professionals from the UK energy sector.
Joining the board are Keith Bell (Mech-Tool Engineering), Paul Charlton (PDL Solutions), Andrew Esson (ContiTech Beattie), Alastair Kennedy (Global Energy Group), Graham Payne (Darchem Engineering) and Gill Southern (Wessington Cryogenics).
The Cosmetic Dental Clinic in Newcastle has appointed Graham Thomson as its newest member of the dentistry team.
Mr Thomson joins the team having practiced in the region for several years. Originally from Loughborough, Graham studied dentistry at Newcastle University, graduating in 1998.
He said: “There is something very rewarding about cosmetic dentistry. It’s amazing the difference it can make to someone’s confidence when you are able to improve his or her smile. Just the smallest change can make a huge difference to the way someone feels about the way they look.”
