Scouring the city for hidden stars
WITH only a few days left to the closing date, Karen Langdon of DEAL Group, has urged businesses, entrepreneurs or mentors to put themselves forward for the Newcastle Enterprise Awards and help celebrate the success of enterprise within the city.
The awards celebrate the achievements, talents and passion of the brightest new and established entrepreneurs in the city, as well as those who might have helped them to succeed, such as mentors, support staff and even friends.
Karen Langdon, of the DEAL Group, who are organising the awards, said: “These awards are intended as a celebration of the passion, talent and success we see in enterprises across Newcastle.
“Here’s a city that is flourishing with fresh business talent and, in the context of such a tough economy, it’s more important than ever that we recognise people for their contributions, achievements and entrepreneurial spirit.”
“Whether you’re planning an enterprise, setting it up, or have hit the ground running, then one of the Newcastle Enterprise Awards could have your name on it.”
The Awards are open to all those who pay either council tax or business rates to Newcastle City Council, or support those who do.
