Science City to help North East businesses compete for £100k
THE Technology Strategy Board (TSB) is running a competition to provide funding for projects in the healthcare, digital media, energy or sustainability fields.
The top prize is up to £100k to fund new ideas.
Winning projects are funded in two stages, with an initial £25k available to develop the idea, followed by up to £75k for further work.
Initial application is through a 2 minute video pitch, which must be uploaded to YouTube by Thursday 16th September.
Given the short deadlines, Science City is offering to help five North East companies prepare, record and upload their videos.
Any companies wishing to take up this offer must be available to develop and record their pitches in Newcastle on Tuesday 14th or Wednesday 15th September.
To speak to Science City about developing your pitch, contact Simon Green, Project Manager on 0191 2113015 or email simon.green@newcastlesciencecity.com.
