Metro contract win keeps office firm on track
A SURGE in business with work on two major North East projects has helped an office interiors business to £500,000 in new contracts.
Washington-based AMH Workspace has fought off national competition to win contracts worth more than £500,000 with Metro operator DB Regio Tyne and Wear and TT.
The firm will provide installation of partitioning in the new offices of DB Regio, the Deutsche Bahn subsidiary, which earlier this year won the contract to operate the Tyne & Wear Metro on behalf of Nexus.
AMH Workspace also recently secured a further contract to supply TT - the recently appointed operator for the New Tyne Crossing - with partitioning, bespoke furniture and seating. This follows an earlier contract from the tunnel contractors, Bouygues, for the refurbishment of its temporary offices.
Sales manager, Mark Rolls, said: “We are delighted to have won these contracts in competitive tender; we feel the success reflects our expertise and innovation for creating excellent workspaces and our real talent for project management.”
