International giant puts faith in North East
A GLOBAL construction consultancy has reaffirmed its commitment to the region by expanding its operations in the North East.
Driver, which has interests all over the world, has made its office in Yarm, near Stockton-on-Tees, the focal point for its Project Services business.
The move coincides with the appointment of Martin Woodall as managing director of its projects operations.
Mr Woodall said: “Driver has a long and successful association with the North-East having represented several major local construction and engineering companies in their traditional role of dispute resolution experts.
“We are now seeing more clients wanting us to work with them in the early stages of their projects to ensure they have a sound commercial and programme strategy that helps them manage risk and avoid the traditional claims solution.
Listed on the Alternative Investment Market since 2006 and with worldwide revenues of £20m per annum, the Driver Group is headquartered near Manchester and has UK offices in London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Northampton, as well as Teesside.
