MobiCart launches to the world
AN EXPANDING mobile ecommerce firm has launched its new game-changing app at the high profile DEMO conference in California’s Silicon Valley.
CEO and founder Wladimir Baranoff-Rossine and Marissa Carruthers launched the product, which aims to revolutionise the shopping industry with our m-commerce app, to a crowd of more than 700 industry experts, investors and journalists at the two-day conference.
Mr Baranoff-Rossine said: “This has been an amazing two days and it’s been great to see people getting really excited about MobiCart.
“DEMO has provided us with the perfect platform to showcase our product, which we believe is going to take the retail industry by storm.
“Interest in our product has been truly overwhelming, proving we really are setting the pace for the future.”
DEMO is a launch platform for emerging technologies. Past success stories to the 20-year-old conference include Adobe Acrobat, Palm Computing, Netscape Navigator and Skype’s first implementation for mobile handsets.
At the fall conference, MobiCart was one of 68 companies, including Parallels who launched Desktop 6 for Mac, chosen from thousands of applicants to take part.
