ContiTech Beattie staff reach new levels
AN ASHINGTON hose technology firm for the oil and gas sector has supported 24 staff in the pursuit of training awards.
ContiTech Beattie Ltd has seen fifteen of its team gain NVQ Level 2 in Business Improvement Techniques, and four succeeded in the Level 2 Customer Service NVQ.
A further four were awarded both qualifications.
Environmental Coordinator, Dan Tyrpak obtained the NEBOSH Level Three Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
ContiTech Beattie said it is committed to investing in skills and training for all levels of staff, as demonstrated by their Investors in People Champion and Gold statuses, which the company was awarded earlier this year.
The Investors in People Gold accolades demonstrate world-wide best practice in people management and recognise company support of, and investment in, its staff.
Andrew Esson, Managing Director of ContiTech Beattie said: “We are proud of the achievements of our staff and that our position as an Investors in People Champion can be seen in practice.”
“The best sources of talent are often found from within our team, so when there is an expression of interest in developing skills it is important to us to ensure that it is listened to and followed through.”
