Enterprise Centre holds open day for businesses?
A SERIES of open days have been organised to help businesses in Hartlepool sign up to the Buy Local campaign.
Hartlepool Enterprise Centre will hold the sessions during Enterprise Week to help and encourage town businesses to take advantage of the scheme.
The open days will be an opportunity for business owners or employees to learn more about Buy Local Hartlepool and how it can be used to promote their own businesses.
Mick Emerson, Principal Economic Development Officer for Hartlepool Borough Council, said: “The Buy Local Hartlepool campaign has gone through several stages of development.
“Now it is being launched town-wide we would really like to see as many Hartlepool businesses jump on board while it is still free to sign up.
“People can register online or pop into the Enterprise Centre and pick up a paper form. It is a great opportunity to promote your business to the Hartlepool public.”
The campaign has also attracted a huge number of consumers who have pledged to support their local economy by signing up on the Buy Local Hartlepool website.
Mr Emerson added: “The first stage of the process is to get as many local businesses on board but we have already had over 1,000 consumers sign up.
“It takes literally a couple of minutes to register, then you could be promoting your products or services to over 1,000 people on your doorstep.”
